Paramedic Special Operations is a digital project that curates news and information about specialist ambulance operations and pre-hospital emergency care. Using dedicated social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest, the project is also building a community of special operations health professionals.

The scope of Paramedic Special Operations includes Hazardous Area Response Teams (HART) and equivalent capabilities, Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS), Tactical Emergency Medical Services (TEMS) and medics working in remote / maritime / offshore environments. Paramedics working in the military, especially Search and Rescue (SAR) and Medical Emergency Response Teams (MERT), are also featured.

Coverage is global with a special focus on the United Kingdom and other countries with advanced pre-hospital special operations programs.
