Salisbury Plain collision

South West Ambulance Service, SWIFT Medics and three air ambulances responded to collision involving three army vehicles

More than 15 soldiers were injured in the crash and several sustained with serious leg injuries. South West Ambulance Service (SWAS) and air ambulance crews took several patients to hospital with others treated at the scene. BASICS-affiliated SWIFT Medics and the SWAS Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) were also part of the medical response.

The accident happened at 1830 local time on Wednesday 17 June 2015 near Larkhill Camp on Salisbury Plain.
